Gem State Poker League is a private, not-for-profit social club for poker enthusiasts in the Boise, Idaho area. The league operates as a points-based competition where members compete for Player of the Year honors and participate in a season-ending Championship tournament.
Players earn points based on tournament finish positions. The league uses a "best of" scoring system where only your top tournament scores count toward final standings. Points determine Player of the Year rankings.
Tournament entry fees are collected and paid out in full to finishing players on the night of each tournament. The league retains no portion of entry fees except:
