Game Rules

General

  • Robert's Rules of Poker apply
  • Commissioner rulings are final
  • Two decks per table for faster play
  • You are responsible for protecting your cards

Betting

  • No string bets - what you say first counts
  • "Call" = you have called, "Raise" = you are raising
  • If you call your hand dead and chips are moved, it's dead
  • Chips must be visible at all times

Time & Presence

  • 30 seconds to make a decision when action is on you
  • Must be at or near your seat when action is on you
  • If you leave during play, chips stay and get blinded out
  • Ghost blinds: eliminated player's position plays through SB and dealer before removal

Etiquette

  • No table talk about cards while hand is in progress
  • Sign out for your finishing position when eliminated
  • Dealer controls the action and creates split pots

Dealing

  • Card accidentally turned up becomes the flop burn card
  • First card or two cards turned up = misdeal, reshuffle
  • Small blind shuffles the next deck while current hand is in play
